Meaning
भावत हरिके बाल विनोद । केशव राम निरखि अति बिहँसत मुदित रोहिनी मात यशोद ॥१॥
Hari’s childhood play is delightful. Seeing Keshav and Ram, mothers Rohini and Yashoda laugh greatly and are filled with joy. ॥१॥
आँगन पंक राग तन सोहत चल नूपुर धुनि सुनि मन मोद ॥ परम सनेह बढ़ावत भायन रवकि रवकि बैठत चढ़ि गोद ॥२॥
The colour of the courtyard mud beautifies Their bodies; hearing the sound of Their anklets as They move fills the heart with joy. They increase the brothers’ deep affection, as again and again They come and sit upon their mothers’ laps. ॥२॥
अतिहि चपल सुखदायक निशदिन रहत केलि रस ओद । परमानंद अंबुज लोचन फिरि फिरि चितवत निजजन कोद ॥३॥
Most playful and joy-giving, day and night He remains absorbed in the delight of play. Parmanand says, the lotus-eyed One turns again and again to look upon His own people. ॥३॥

bhaavat harike baal vinod · keshav raam nirakhi ati bihansat mudit rohinee maat yashod ॥1॥
aangan pank raag tan sohat chal noopur dhuni suni man mod · param saneh barhaavat bhaayan ravaki ravaki baithat charhi god ॥2॥
atihi chapal sukhadaayak nishadin rahat keli ras od · paramaanand ambuj lochan phiri phiri chitavat nijajan kod ॥3॥
