MEANING
जागिये गोपाललाल जननी बलजाई ॥ उठो तात प्रात भयो रजनीको तिमिर गयो टेरत सब ग्वालबाल मोहनाकन्हाई ॥१॥Wake up, dear Gopal; Your mother offers herself upon You. Arise, my child—the morning has come, the darkness of night has gone, and all the cowherd boys are calling, “Mohan! Kanhaiya!” ॥१॥उठो मेरे आनंदकंद गगनचंद मंदभयो प्रकट्यो अंशुमान भानु-कमलने सुखदाई ॥ सखा सब पूरत वेणु तुम विना न छूटे धेनु उठो लाल तजो सेज सुंदर वरराई ॥२॥Wake up, my source of joy. The moon in the sky has grown faint, and the radiant sun has appeared, bringing joy to the lotuses. All Your companions are playing their flutes; without You, the cows will not be let out. Rise, dear Lal, and leave Your beautiful bed. ॥२॥मुखते पट दूरकियो यशोदाको दरसदियो ओर दधि मांगलियो विविध रस मिठाई ॥ जेवत दोऊ रामश्याम सकल मंगल गुणनिधान थारमें कछू जूठ रही मानदास पाई ॥३॥He moved the covering away from His face and gave Yashoda darshan, then asked for curd and various tasty sweets. Ram and Shyam, the treasure-houses of all auspicious qualities, ate together; some of their remnants remained in the platter, which Mandas received. ॥३॥
