MEANING
मांदल वाज्यौ री ! ब्रजजन कें, प्रगटे श्रीबलराम ।The mandal drum resounds among the people of Vraj—Shri Balaram has appeared!रोहिनी-कूँखि प्रगट पुरुषोत्तम ब्रजजन-मन अभिराम ॥Purushottam has appeared from Rohini’s womb, bringing delight to the hearts of the people of Vraj.जो जन विनय करत, दुख तिनके काटत हैं तिहि जाम ।Whoever humbly prays to Him—He removes that person’s sorrow at that very moment.टेरत कोउ जात तहाँ भाजे, और कछु नहिं काम ॥If anyone calls out to Him, He runs there at once; He has no other concern.स्याम राम को भेद न जानत, करत जुदाई मन में ।Those who do not understand that there is no distinction between Shyam and Ram create separation between Them in their own minds.'छीत स्वामी' मुख सों कहा वरनों ! आगि लगौ ता तन में ॥Chhit Swami says, “What can I possibly describe with my mouth? May that body which sees separation between Them be consumed by fire.”
