MEANING
मनिमय आँगन नंद के खेलत दोऊ भैया । गौर श्याम जोरी बनी बलि कुँवर कन्हैया ॥१॥In Nanda’s jewel-studded courtyard, the two brothers play. The fair and dark pair is beautifully formed; I am devoted to Prince Kanhaiya. ॥१॥नूपुर कंकन किंकनी रुनु झुनु बाजें । मोहि रही ब्रज सुंदरी मनसा सुत लाजें ॥२॥Anklets, bracelets, and tiny bells ring with a sweet tinkling sound. The women of Vraj remain enchanted, their hearts drawn to the child, forgetting their shyness. ॥२॥संग जसुमति रोहिनी हित कारन मैया । चुटकी दै दै नचावहीं सुत जानि नन्हैया ॥३॥Yashomati and Rohini, the loving mothers, are with them. Snapping their fingers again and again, they make the little children dance, knowing them to be tiny boys. ॥३॥नील पीत पट ओढ़नी देखत मोहि भावै । बाल विनोद आनंदसूँ परमानंद गावै ॥४॥Seeing their blue and yellow garments and coverings delights me. Parmanand sings with joy of their childhood play. ॥४॥
