MEANING

रानीजू जायौ पूत सुलच्छन ॥विप्रन दान दिये मनि कंचन वधूवनको पट दच्छन ॥१॥Raniju has borne an auspicious son.Gifts of jewels and gold were given to the Brahmins, and fine cloth as dakshina to the women. ॥1॥जन्मत गयौ घोषको नसिकै सब संताप ततच्छन॥सूरदास प्रभु प्रगट भयेहैं निज दासनके रच्छन ॥२॥At His birth, the distress of Ghokul vanished at that very moment.Surdas says: Prabhu has appeared for the protection of His own servants. ॥2॥
