MEANING
तृतीय विलास कियौ स्यामाजू प्रवीन ।खेलनकौ उच्छाह सखी एकत्र कीन ॥१॥In the third Vilas, accomplished Shyamaju gathered the sakhis together in eagerness for the Leela. ॥१॥तिनमें मुख्यसखी विशाखाजू ऐन ॥चलीनिकुंज महेलमें कोकिला ज्यौं बैंन ॥२॥Among them, the chief sakhi was Vishakhaju. She went toward the Nikunj Mahal, her voice sweet like a cuckoo’s. ॥२॥भोग धरि सँवार बासोंधी सनी ॥कुसुमरंग अनेक गुही कामिनी ॥३॥The bhog was beautifully arranged and filled with fragrance. The young women wove together flowers of many colours. ॥३॥गानस्वर कियौ बनदेवी विहार ॥नव त्रियाकौ वेष कोटि काम वार ॥४॥They sang melodiously during the Vihara of the forest Devi. Her fresh and beautiful attire surpassed the beauty of countless Kamadevas. ॥४॥ढिंग आसन कराय प्यारीकों बैठाय ॥दोउ एकत्र कीन निरखत लेत बलाय ॥५॥They prepared a seat nearby and seated Pyari there. They brought the Two together and, beholding Them, lovingly warded away all harm. ॥५॥यह लीलाकौ ध्यान मम हृदय ठहराय ॥देखत सुरनर मुनिभूले रसिक बलबल जाय ॥६॥May contemplation of this Leela remain firmly within my heart. Beholding it, devas, humans, and sages lose all awareness; the rasikas offer themselves again and again. ॥६॥
