व्रजमें फले फिरत अहीर ॥ढोटा भयो नंदबाबाकें सुखनिधि श्यामशरीर ॥१॥In Vraj the Ahirs move about blooming with joy.A boy has been born to Nanda Baba, the treasure of happiness, with Shyam-colored body. ॥1॥मंगल कलश दूध दधि अच्छत वेद पढ़त द्विज धीर ॥मांगन ग्वाल बधाई आये दिये यशोदा चीर ॥२॥Auspicious kalash, milk, curd, unbroken rice; calm Brahmins recite the Veda.The gopas came asking for congratulatory gifts, and Yashoda gave cloth. ॥2॥फूले नंदराय पहरावत छिरकत कुमकुम नीर ॥परमानंददासको ठाकुर प्रगट्यो जादोंवीर ॥३॥Nandarai, blooming with joy, clothes them and sprinkles kumkum water.The Thakur of Parmananddas has appeared, the hero of the Yadu line. ॥3॥
