दुहूँ कर फोंदना मुख मेलत । रामकृष्ण बैठे गोद जननी की कबहूँक उतरि घुटुरुवन खेलत ॥१॥

Balaram and Krishna put the tassels they hold in both hands into their mouths. They sit in their mother’s lap, and sometimes climb down and play, crawling on their hands and knees. ॥१॥

चाहि रहत खुनखुना सुनिसुनि हँसि वसुधा पगसों पग ठेलत । रामदास प्रभु शिशुताके वश अरबराय खिलौना सँकेलत ॥२॥

They gaze at the rattles, laughing as they listen to their sounds, and playfully push their little feet against the ground. Ramdas says that the Lord, absorbed in His childhood play, babbles like a little child and gathers His toys around Him. ॥२॥
