MEANING
एक समें सुतकों हुलरावति जसुमति मुदित करत मृदुगानें। बिधुसौ बदन कमलदल लोचन सुंदर श्याम तबै जूभानें ॥१॥Once, Yashoda joyfully rocked her child while singing sweetly. Just then, beautiful Shyam yawned, His face like the moon and His eyes like lotus petals. ॥१॥तब विलोकी व्याकुल भई जननी तीनहुँ लोक बदन दरसानें । सूरदास प्रभु मंद मंद हँसि तबही महरि माया अरु झाने ॥२॥Seeing the three worlds revealed within His mouth, the mother became overwhelmed. Surdas says: the Lord gently smiled, and at once the mother was again covered by Maya. ॥२॥
