MEANING
कोलाहल जमुना के तीर । कालीनाग कहत हैं नाथ्यो संकरषन के बीर ॥There is a great commotion on the banks of the Yamuna. They say that the heroic brother of Sankarshan has subdued Kaliya Nāga.लागी पुकार सकल ब्रजबासी नंद जसोमति संग । उछटत परत सीस कच छूटत रुदै बिरह के दुँद ॥All the people of Vraj, together with Nanda and Yashoda, cry out in distress. Their heads reel, their hair comes undone, and they weep in the anguish of separation.संकट जाइ भयो इक ठौरे हा हा सबद उचार । 'परमानंददास' कौ ठाकुर जीत्यो नंदकुमार ॥The danger has reached its utmost point, and cries of “Hā! Hā!” arise. Nanda Kumar, the Thakurji of Paramanand Das, has overcome it.
