माधौजू तनकसो बदन Madhauju Tanakaso Badan
MEANING
माधौजू तनकसो बदन सदन शोभाकौ तनक भूकुटी पर तनक दिठौना । तनक लटूरी सोहें मुनिन के मन मोहे मानों कमल ढिंग बैठे अलि छौना ॥१॥Madhoju has a little face, the abode of beauty; a little mark of protection upon His little eyebrows. His little curls look lovely and enchant the minds of sages, as though a little bee were seated beside a lotus. ॥१॥तनकसी रज लागी निरखत बड़भागी कंठ कठुला सोहै नख बघना। नंददास प्रभु यशोदा के आँगन खेलै जाको जस गाय गाय मुनि भये मगना ॥२॥A little dust clings to Him; those who behold Him are greatly fortunate. A little necklace adorns His neck, and the tiger-claw pendant looks beautiful. Nanddas says: the Lord plays in Yashoda’s courtyard; singing His glory again and again, the sages became absorbed. ॥२॥
