पोढे कुंज महलदोउ धाम ॥ परम चतुर व्रखभान नंदनी कमल नयन घनस्याम ॥१॥
In the beautiful palace within the garden grove, the divine Couple are resting together. They are the exceedingly graceful and accomplished daughter of Vrishabhanu and the lotus-eyed, dark-complexioned Ghanshyam. ॥१॥
अति झीने मधुर सुरगावत जुर आई वृजभाम ॥ अरस परस दोउ महा रस भीने परमानंद पूरण काम ॥२॥
The ladies of Vraj have gathered together and are singing in very soft, melodious voices. The divine Couple are together, immersed in the profound sweetness of Their mutual affection. Paramanand sings of Their complete happiness and the fulfilment of Their heartfelt wishes. ॥२॥
