MEANING
मेरै साँवरो कन्हाई माई एकौ द्वै न जानें । दूध और दावानल दोऊ एकही करिकें मानें ॥१॥Mother, my dark Kanhaiya does not know any difference between one thing and another. He thinks milk and a forest fire are just the same. ॥१॥कमल और गोवर्धन लाला दोऊ एक करि लेखे । सूर लीला केती करि गावै देव सपनेहुँ नहीं देखे ॥२॥Lala considers a lotus and Govardhan to be alike. Surdas says: how many of His lilas can one sing? Even the gods have never seen such things, not even in a dream. ॥२॥
